  • Michelle Aravena (Owner/Coach)

    Michelle Aravena was last seen on Broadway as Miss Argentina in Beetlejuice. She was previously seen on Broadway in A Bronx Tale, Rocky, Jersey Boys, A Chorus Line (2006), and The Sound of Music (Lincoln Center). Around the country, Michelle has performed leading roles with A Bronx Tale, West Side Story, Jersey Boys, Les Miserables and Mamma Mia. Michelle has had the privilege of performing on some of the most prestigious stages such as La Scala Opera House in Milan, the Orb theater in Tokyo Japan, and The Old Globe in San Diego to name a few. She has worked under some of the industry’s top creative teams such as Alex Timbers, Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty, Jerry Zaks, Alan Menkin, Des McAnuff, Sergio Trujillo, Chazz Palmetari, Robert Dinero, and the late Arthur Laurents. Michelle is represented by Stewart Talent NY for legit and voice-over work.

  • Christopher Murrah (Coach/Web Design)

    Christopher is a director and career coach, as well as the owner of Ghostlight Theater Camp. His work in theatre and opera has been seen around the world, at the Mariinsky Opera, Yale Opera, Oslo Opera House, and The National Theater of Croatia. He has worked with Encores! Off-Center, Classic Stage Company, SITI Company, and Kansas City Repertory Theatre. In 2014 he was the recipient of the honored Princess Grace Theater Award Honorarium and was previously honored by the Shubert Foundation through Columbia University.

    He is a professional member of Actor's Equity Association (AEA) and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC) and holds a master’s degree in directing from Columbia University.

  • Gina Scarpa (Voice-Over Coach)

    Gina Scarpa is a full-time voice actor and coach living in Connecticut. Her happy voiceover clients include Xfinity, Burger King, L'Oreal, and many more. Gina has worked on commercial, video game, animation, corporate, explainer, and medical projects throughout her extensive career. She is also the Owner and Creative Director of Positive Voices Studio, where she provides individual coaching, group classes, workshops, and demo production for voice actors of all ages and casting services for clients across the country and abroad.

  • Carly Post (Coach)

    Carly just completed a 2 year run in the Broadway National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof (Bielke) directed by Bartlett Sher. Other credits include Darcy in Rewind, a new musical in development as part of the New Works Festival at Theatre Row directed by Richard Israel, a modern musical version of Pride and Prejudice (Kitty) as part of the SheARTS NYC Festival, Jane Eyre (Helen Burns) at KOTA, Seth Rudetsky’s Plays in the House Jr., The Early Night Show, and Young Broadway Series. TV/Film/VO: Steambots: Adventures in Learning, Sunny (Pilot), UGUS, Stomp Out Bullying, Theatrical Rights Worldwide Industry commercial and demos.

    Carly has taught and assisted at various youth theatre organizations, including Broadway Workshop, Denise Simon Coaching, and Shine Theatre Arts Project. She graduated cum laude from Muhlenberg College (theatre major with acting concentration, music minor). She is represented by Stewart Talent and Bercy Talent.

  • Adam Fleming

    Adam Fleming (Coach)

    Adam Fleming’s credits on stage include Hairspray (Sketch, original Broadway cast, Neil Simon Theatre), Wicked (Boq at Chicago’s Oriental Theatre & Ensemble/Boq understudy, Gershwin Theatre, New York, NY), bare: a pop opera (Lucas, Off-Broadway premiere) and on film dare (Ben, director Adam Salky) and its sequel, The Dare Project. The Dare Project premiered at San Francisco’s Frameline 42 Festival in 2018 and played festivals including Outfest, Provincetown IFF, Philadelphia IFF, among others. Awards include Atlanta’s Out on Film Audience Award for Best Men's Shorts, the North Carolina Gay and Lesbian Film Festival's Jury Award for Best Men's Short, and California Men's Group Short Film Festival 2018 Audience Award for Best Drama.

  • Brittany Conigatti (Choreography Coach)

    Brittany is a born and raised New Yorker who graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts where she was a Dance Major. Brittany continued her arts studies at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, where she was an Integrated Major and then earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from The New School.

    Brittany’s Broadway credits include The Prom and A Bronx Tale, and she has been seen around the country in Mean Girls, Matilda, and Beauty and the Beast. Television audiences have seen her in Annie Live! and Law and Order: SVU.

    Brittany adores teaching passionate performers! Brittany always has the goal to bring out each student's uniqueness and takes pride in providing a positive and encouraging learning environment where the students feel comfortable to work at their highest potential!

  • Jonathan Smith (Accompanist)

    Jonathan Smith [aka Smitti] is a pianist, composer and music director with over 40 years of experience, from jazz bands in New Orleans (where he studied piano with legendary jazz patriarch Ellis Marsalis) to Broadway orchestras. He was co-creator of the Broadway dance review “Swing!” which was nominated for the Tony and Grammy awards as best musical. His Broadway work as a pianist or MD includes “Thoroughly Modern Millie”, “Jersey Boys”, “Imaginary Friends”, “A Bronx Tale” and “Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations”. He will be the Music Director of the upcoming 2021 national tour of “Ain’t Too Proud”.

    Smitti is also the father of two sons who are theatre performers. Ian has a BFA in musical theatre from Ithaca College, and Emmet will graduate in Theatre with a Musical Theatre Certificate from Northwestern University in 2021.
